** Condition **

Some general wear to the binding.
Attachment of the covers has been carefully strengthened by insertion of Bookbinder's cloth hinge repair material underneath the leather.
The covers are now very firmly attached, very secure, and the hinges flex normally.
There is a little loss of leather at the binding edges.
There is a thin seam where the leather has split at the juncture of the covers and the spine, however this has been repaired & strengthened, and all is firm and secure.

Lacks the first front free endpaper.
There is wear at the outer edge of the first half dozen pages.
One of the two family record pages at the rear is lacking ( the "Deaths" and "Miscellaneous" page is still present, with no writing ).
The Pages are otherwise Clean and in Very Good Condition.
The Full-page Maps and Engravings are Clean and in Very Good Condition.
The Family Photographs Album at the rear is in Very Good Condition ( it was never used ).

Binding recently treated with Bookbinder's Leather Preservative-Restorer to replenish essential oils and help preserve the old leather.
