Vintage MAMIYA NC1000 35mm SLR Film Camera w/1.7 50mm CS Lens Case & Manual
For your consideration is a vintage "NC1000" Model 35mm SLR Film Camera by MAMIYA, made in Japan. SN: K145581. This film camera uses 35mm film and will accept the Mamiya 'CS' bayonet-mount manual focus SLR lenses.
This camera is very clean and in very good cosmetic condition overall with light wear noted.
Battery compartment is clean without corrosion and batteries are not included. Battery type is (2x) SR44/A76, (1x) CR-1/3N or equivalent.
I installed fresh batteries into the camera and the shutter button fires at all speed settings although accuracy cannot be guaranteed. Shutter speeds sound right to the untrained ear. Film winder, counter, battery check light, and self-timer is working. Viewfinder is clean. Flash hot-shoe is working. Flash ports have not been tested. Light meter is working but accuracy cannot be verified. Mirror pad and light seals are in good original used condition. No actual film testing was performed and additional maintenance or repairs may be required to have a fully functioning camera.
Lens is an Auto Mamiya-Sekor CS f/1.7 50mm Prime, Made in Japan, SN: 49708. Lens barrel is in very good plus condition with light wear noted. Lens glass is clean. No haze, fog, fungus or scratches are noted. Aperture appears to function normally with distinct stops. No oil on 6-blades. Blades are fast and snappy. Focus is smooth. Lens filter size is 49mm. An original Mamiya outer lens cap is included.
Also included is the original Mamiya 2-piece camera case in worn condition. Typical cracking/flaking of leatherette cover is noted. The original Mamiya vinyl neck strap in good used condition is also included.
Finally included is the original Mamiya instruction manual in good used condition. Binding of manual has been taped.
This is a nice 35mm SLR film camera that is an excellent choice for the vintage enthusiast or collector.
