DESCRIPTION:

This listing is for a antique bisque shoulder head doll for display or "restorations".  Incised on the back of her bisque head is "Hch 3 H".  Reference attributes to German maker Heinrich Handwerck, 1890+ with the bisque head made by Simon & Halbig. Doll measures 25" tall being a bisque shoulder head with lower bisque arms (one finger on left hand is missing the tip), she has old worn & torn kid leather body, see photos please. I do not know her past history and or if arms are original to the body, they appear to have been sewn and repaired at the shoulder areas. The right arm will not display straight down. This bisque shoulder head is all together intact but "loose" on the kid leather body. Body shows lots of wear and rips on the upper torso areas, You may wish to replace her body or do restorations to your liking. Right knee has tape repair. Doll does display well with clothing on, sitting or standing with a stand, she is clip jointed at the hips. This doll has a "lovely" and "Expressive" face with fixed open blue glass eyes, painted lashes around the eyes, brush stroked brown brows,  she has open mouth and upper teeth, there is a faint little dimple in her chin. A little paint wear on her nose but nothing too terrible. I flashed her head and do not see any cracks or hairlines. Her human hair wig is long, antique and lovely with some overall wear, it is glued on a pate that goes over her head. Doll wears hand made floral dress with only safety pin closure down the back, slip, stockings and shoes. I have taken plenty of photos. Please look at my photos they will serve as part of this description. Doll stand is not included. If you would like further photos or have questions please email me.  Enjoy this lovely old doll as she is, or go for a some restorations! Offering to you AS IS condition shown with BUY IT NOW listing. We do combine shipping and have many other "fabulous" dolls and items listing in our Ebay Store. Thank you for looking!
