This listing is for one M1928 haversack dated at 1942. These haversacks were issued to US Army servicemen during World War 2. This item was manufactured by "G. & R. Co.", as is specified by the stamp on the inside of the pack. There is a meat can pouch attached to the front and a pack "tail" extender attached to the bottom using a leather strap. Pack tail is manufactured by "STANDARD" and dated 1942.
Made from heavy duty canvas in olive drab, and is in near mint condition, new from old stock. Fabric is clean and free from stains or discolouration. No rips, tears, or fraying. Cast metal buckles are clean and free of corrosion. US lettering is crisp and dark.
Overall, this item could be considered "perfect" and will make an fantastic addition to any WW2 militaria collection!
