French Arabian Prince & Lion Figural Mantel Clock 8 Day Striking Mantle Clock - Horseman Fighting a Lion Slate & Gilt Working Order
This is an Antique French mantel clock with a wonderful figure group with a loin doing battle with an Arabian Prince on horseback. The figure holds great movement and is a large model so looks wonderful on display. The figural mantel clock made from gilt metal and gilt decorated slate. Rectangle stepped bevelled base with carved paw feet with mask lion heads
Fully working clean dial and the movement is a French 8-day duration with anchor escapement, in good working order.
This clock is French made circa 1880's
Measures 21" high 18" wide and 7" inches deep
