This is a 15 pin SATA power cable for powering SATA devices such as a SATA hard drive from a 4 pin molex power cable. It allows the conversion of the 4 pin molex power connector from the PC"s PSU to be attached to the SATA powered device.

As peripherals move over to SATA power connectors, Molex 4 pin are less needed, so this adapter changes it simply, easily and safely.
