These are brand new custom made 4" Delrin Hardbar shift knobs for any Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution with a manual transmission and a M10 x 1.25 threaded shift rod. This is similar to the 3" Delrin Hardbar we have listed, except that it is 1" longer. We've had several requests for this custom size knob. The people we've made them for really like them. We've decided to make this size available for everyone. Available in black, white, red, yellow, and blue (shown below). Please specify if you want a color other than black at the time of order. If nothing is specified, we will send black.
This is a direct fit/replacement for the boring stock shift knob. It's made from lightweight and durable engineered polymer material and has a M10 x 1.25 tapped hole in it. Please specify if you have a shift rod with a different thread size. This is not a universal knob that rattles. It's specifically made for this application. It's CNC machined and glass bead blasted. This results in nice matted finish which provides a superior grip and really looks sharp in the interior.
This particular design has a diameter of just under 1.5" and is 4" long. You'll notice that the bottom diameter is large enough to keep the shift boot tucked down and away from your hand. The top is fully rounded for a nice place for your thumb to rest. The lowered shift knob height, shape, and finish all contribute to a secure and comfortable feeling in your hand as your making your way through those gears. The shift knobs are designed, manufactured, and distributed right here in the U.S.A. by a fellow car enthusiast (me). A perfect gift for that car owner in your life!
