I BOUGHT THIS GP AS AN IMPORT FROM PORTUGAL IN 2004, STILL IN ITS ORIGINAL OCHRE PAINT, AS CAN BE SEEN IN THE BEFORE PICTURES. I TOOK IT TO JASON AT CLASSICALLY ITALIAN ( WHO NOW WORKS AT GRAN SPORT) WHO STRIPPED AND THEN REBUILT IT IN THE STYLE OF AN ARTHUR FRANCIS 'S' TYPE.

THE PAINTWORK WAS APPLIED BY TERRY HALE, WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MOST OF THE WORK DONE AT GRAN SPORT, IN THE ORIGINAL GP BIANCOSPINO WHITE AND MODERN BMW MINI COOPER S DARK SILVER. 

THE ENGINE WAS UPGRADED WITH A STAGE 4 KIT FROM MARK BROADHURST AND A 25MM DELLORTO CARB WHICH RUNS THROUGH THE AIRBOX FOR ORIGINAL LOOKS. IT HAS AN AF BIG BORE CLUBMAN WITH CHROMED DOWN  PIPE AND HAS BEEN CONVERTED TO 12 VOLT ELECTRICS. THE FRONT DISC BRAKE HAS BEEN CONVERTED TO REVERSE PULL OPERATION AND IS ALSO FITTED WITH AN AIR SCOOP FROM RIMINI LAMBRETTA CENTRE.

IT ALSO HAS A RECOVERED SLOPEBACK SEAT WHICH HAS BEEN CUT AWAY TO FIT WITH THE EXTRA LARGE ARTHUR FRANCIS SEBRING RACK. THERE IS A NANUCCI STYLE FIBREGLASS TOOLBOX FITTED AND IS FINISHED WITH ARTHUR FRANCIS DECALS AND BERTONE BADGES . ALL THE STICKERS EXCEPT FOR THE SIGNWRITING ON THE SIDE PANELS ARE EASILY REMOVABLE.

I AM ONLY SELLING THIS SCOOTER AS I HAVE RECENTLY BEEN MADE REDUNDANT AND WILL BE VERY SAD TO SEE HER GO.
