Most large items (TVs, Major Appliances, & Furniture) are not shipped by your familiar carriers UPS, FedEx, & USPS. This is because those carriers specialize in shipping smaller & medium size packages. Home Buys Plus wants to ensure you the fastest, the most professional, and the most reliable shipping service available for your purchase. We have an extensive network of shipping partners who specialize in home delivery of large items.

The most common question we get is: What if my purchase arrives damaged?
This is highly unusual because our specialty delivery services have only one job, which is to ensure a safe delivery of your purchase. You are just as likely to receive a damaged item from Home Buys Plus as you are from your local retail store delivery service. After all they are both coming on trucks from a warehouse. The delivery process is no different because you made your purchase online as opposed to a retail store!

However, it is still important to inspect your item upon delivery. Once your item arrives please ask the delivery professional to unpack the box. They are required to do so upon request. Once your item is unpacked remove the wrapping & inspect for physical damage. If physical damage is detected you should refuse the delivery. Please note that shipping cartons do occasionally sustain some damage during transit. Do not refuse the delivery if you notice damage to the box. Instead only refuse the delivery if there is damage to your item.

If your item is damaged, refuse the delivery and make a note on the delivery manifest receipt of the damage you see. Once the item has been refused you may contact us here. Rest assured we will send a replacement immediately after we confirm the damage with our delivery provider.
Free Shipping only applies to orders shipped within the Continental United States. If you need shipping outside of the Continental United States please Contact Us before making a purchase and we will give you shipping rates.

Expedited shipping may not be available on certain items. If you need your item on a guaranteed date please contact us before you make your purchase. Sales Tax:
We only collect local sales tax on orders shipped within Florida, and Indiana. For areas outside of Florida and Indiana, please check with your local tax authorities regarding any local sales tax liabilities.

Order Cancellations:
To cancel an order, you will need to contact a Customer Service representative. If you request cancellation of an order after the order has shipped, you will be responsible for all shipping charges even if you refuse the package and do not sign for the delivery. The order may also be subject to a restocking fee.

Damaged Products:
All claims for damaged merchandise must be made within 24 hours from the date that the merchandise was received. The claim can be initiated by you or Home Buys Plus representative. All original packing materials and/or boxes must be saved and made available for inspection, in order for a damage claim to be considered by the shipper. Home Buys Plus will not be liable for any monies lost if the claim is not filed within the required time period. If you decide to file a claim with the shipper directly, you must notify us to receive proper credit or replacement.
Please Note: Before accepting any truck delivery, please make certain to examine the unit for any signs of damage. Remove the product from its packaging for a complete inspection. Once you have signed for delivery, you may not be able to file a claim with the trucking company.

Defective Products:
Most products that we carry include a full warranty of at least one year. If you receive an item that is defective (not working properly) after delivery please contact customer support here. You may also contact the manufacturer directly. This information can be found in the product literature. In the event a product requires a service call, we cannot accept a return for this reason only. A service call will be provided free of charge and the manufacturers warranty will cover all repair costs.

Non-Defective Product Returns:
Non-defective products cannot be returned. Unless approved beforehand, if a return is approved you will be responsible for return shipping and subject to restocking charges. Please read over our Returns section in full.

Price Matching:
Home Buys Plus will be happy to match or beat any advertised price. If you find a better price from another authorized dealer please contact us and we will work with you to ensure you receive the best price possible.

Price Protection:
Unfortunately because of the ever changing market conditions, we do not offer price protection credits or refunds on any items previously purchased from Home Buys Plus. Prices can and will change at any time without notice based on a variety of factors that we cannot control.

Pricing Error:
With thousands of individual listings mistakes will happen. We reserve the right to cancel an order if the price was an error. In this case you will be notified right away and if you work with us, we will work with you.

Out Of Stock Items:
We try very hard to have the inventory on eBay correct at all times. However with the many sales channels we operate on, there will be occasions that a item listed is out of stock. If this happens we will contact you right away and give you the option of an immediate refund or the option of waiting for the product to arrive back into stock. In the event of delays, every effort will be made to contact you by phone, e-mail or mail. If the delay is due to backorder, you will receive notice and be given the choice to remain on backorder, substitute to another item, or cancel your order.

Returns:

Return Policies:
All returned merchandise must be in original condition, and must include the original factory box (UPC bar codes and serial numbers must be intact) and factory packaging (e.g. foam, plastic, wrappings, etc.), peripherals (e.g. battery, charger, cords, straps, etc.), included warranty cards (without markings), and all instruction booklets and paperwork. The RMA number or any other inscriptions must not be written or printed on the product box or packaging. We will not process the return if any of the above conditions are not followed
Removal or alteration of a product's UPC Number, Serial Number or UPC/Serial Number sticker will automatically void your Home Buys Plus Return Policy. Products that are returned to Home Buys Plus with a missing, damaged or altered serial number will be refused and returned to you.

Return Time:
You can return most items purchased from Home Buys Plus as long as it is within the first 7 days from the shipping date. All returned or exchanged items must be in their original box and include packing material, manuals, and all accessories. Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. This does not apply to items that arrived damaged.

RMA Number:
Before returning your item you must get an RMA Number (Return Merchandise Authorization Number) from a Home Buys Plus representative. Returns will not be accepted without an RMA Number. This is a very easy process.  Just Contact Us. You will be given RMA # and further instructions within 1 business day.

Restocking:
A minimum restocking fee of 20% of the total sale price will be deducted from the Buy It Now price for all items that are refund only. This fee applies to open and unopened boxes. If you are returning an item with the intention of purchasing a different item from us the restocking fee may be lowered in most cases.

Shipping Charges:
Shipping charges are not refundable. If an item was shipped under Free Shipping the shipping fee we incurred to get the product to you will be deducted out of the return price. Our original shipping fee can be made available to you upon request. Buyer pays for return shipping.

Damaged Item:
If your item is damaged, refuse the delivery and make a note on the delivery manifest receipt of the damage you see. Once the item has been refused you may Contact Us. Rest assured we will send a replacement immediately after we confirm the damage with our delivery provider.

Defective Item:
A defective item is an item that is not working properly after the delivery has been made. Please Contact Us and a Home Buys Plus representative will help you diagnose the problem. If we cannot diagnose the problem we will contact the manufacturer of your item & see to it that the issue is resolved. Please note that some manufacturers will require at least one service call to help in diagnosing the problem. This is made possible because Home Buys Plus is an authorized dealer of all the products we sell. All our product offerings come with a Full Manufacturers Warranty. Televisions over 32 inch & all Major Appliances include in home warranty for the first year. We also offer Extended Warranties. Defective items cannot be returned without RMA #.
In the event a product requires a service call, we will not accept a return for this reason only. A service call will be provided free of charge and the manufacturers warranty will cover all repair costs.

Refusing A Package:
If you place an order with Home Buys Plus and then refuse a package for any reason other than damage to the actual item (not the carton), you will receive a refund for the amount of your original transaction less any shipping charges we incurred in getting the package to you originally, as well as the cost of the return shipping. A 20% Restocking Fee may also apply.

Return Exception:
Although we have a very flexible return policy on most of the items we sell, there are some exceptions. The following items may not be returned. A/V Furniture A/V Receivers Cameras, Camcorders, Apple iPods Consumables, including but not limited to recordable media, film, digital memory, tapes, batteries, paper, and ink. Mobile phones Panasonic DVD recorders Computers Software (after opened) Televisions and Major Appliances*

*All Televisions above 32 inches and Major Appliances come with a full manufacturs warranty. This means all service issues will be handled by the manufacturer. All repair work is done in home & Home Buys Plus will assist you in obtaining the necessary service. Our listings do read returns accepted for these items in the header. However this only applies to damaged items discovered upon delivery. We cannot return items for damage if they have been signed for as arrived in good condition. Also we cannot return items because of buyer remorse. If the item is damaged or defective we will work with you until the issue is resolved.

A: We update your tracking information the same day your item ships. You will be notified by email once your item has shipped & the tracking number(s) will be included. Q: How long will it take for me to receive my item?
A While transit times do vary 90% of orders are delivered within 5 business days. There will at times be unexpected delays on the part of the freight/shipment carrier. Holiday Shipping times may be longer. For large items (TVs, Appliances, Entertainment Centers) average transit time is 4-7 business days.

Q: Do the items you sell come with a grey or back market warranty?
A: No. Home Buys Plus is an authorized online retailer for every product we carry. Therefore all new items will come with a full manufacturers warranty. This is the exact same warranty you would receive from your local retail store.

Q: Do you charge state sales tax?
A: Yes. However we only charge state sales tax for orders shipped to the state of Florida and Indiana.

Q: If I am buying multiple items will they all arrive at the same time?
