The 5Star Micro Paracord may be small in diameter at just 2mm (+/- 0.15mm), but don't let this fool
you. Able to hold up to 100 pounds the cord is perfect for applications ranging from crafts to home repair to
camping to military.
The 5Star Micro Paracord was originally designed to be used in flight survival jackets to secure vital pieces
of equipment should the pilot have to eject. The last thing they want to loose is compasses and survival tools.
Perfect for whipping larger cord or do hide joins. The cord will virtually match all our other 5Star paracord
colors, so you get a seamless and professional looking project when you are done.
Craft, artist & jewellery makers are using it to enhance their own projects and creations. Some are using it to
make small braided bracelets, knots and watch bands. Even being used to make Shamballa Bracelets.
The Micro Paracord is ideal for very thin show leads for small breed dogs and animals or use several colors to
braid it into a thicker lead. We've already seen it popping up in a few show rings including the prestigious
Crufts.
Being smaller in diameter it isn't as bulky as the 5Star Premium C-550 series, which makes it perfect for
keyfobs/keychains, lanyards for small items where the larger 550 paracord doesn't look or sit right, and can be
braided/weaved to make some striking zipper pulls (Team colors?), bracelets for children or small wrist
diameters and other paracord made fashions.
Camper/Hikers/Military use the cord just as it to tie off vital equipment so you won't loose it. Knifemakers
use it to wrap handles on knives or hiking sticks for added grip. Since it can hold up to 100 pounds, in a
pinch it would even be suitable for holding up a basher/tarp overnight.
The inner core is a single twist core using one strand. This means you could gut the cord and use the inner
core for sewing up a rip, dental floss, fishing line, even emergency stitches.
The 5Star Micro Paracord resist mildew and rotting and is also UV resistant.
The 5Star Micro Paracord is made in the USA.
