Here is a recent estate find. This is a Rare 19th Century Antique WHEELER & WILSON No. 9 Treadle Sewing Machine circa 1892, made by the Wheeler and Wilson Company Bridgeport, Conn. USA. This has a Stunning Ornate Carved Light Oak Case, with Very Ornate Details on the Drawers! The Sewing machine is in Great Condition and retains most of the original paint, as pictured. It is operated by moving a foot pedal, there is no electric motor, its all manual, and appears to be functioning correctly! The Drawers are full of Attachments and Sewing accessories and supplies, including original manuals and extra belt. This is model D-9, the "Number 9 Family Sewing Machine". This measures approx. 32" wide x 30 1/2" high x 16" deep, which appears to be smaller than other table mounted Treadle Sewing Machines.
