This auction is for two (2) 11lbs rolls ( 22lbs all together ) of ER70S-6 mild steel. Wire diameter .035 Fits all mig welders with a 2" arbor hole & 8" diameter roll. Precision wound & spooled to ensure even and smooth feed. The main brands of wire that I sell for this auction are all top quality brand names such as Washington Alloys, Inweld, Weldcote Metals, Harris Welco, & Techni-weld. None of which are made in America but all come from top quality mills in countries such as Turkey, Asia, & Italy. We stand behind all of our products that we sell. Description
70S-6 contains high levels of manganese and silicon for stronger deoxidizing power where stringent cleaning procedures are not possible. This wire has been designed to provide X-ray quality porosity-free welds and the highest tensile strength (as welded) of the plain carbon steel wires. The high silicon content increases the fluidity of the weld pool, creating a smoother bead appearance and resulting in minimal post-weld grinding. 70S-6 is excellent where poor fit-ups or rusty and oily plates may be used.
