This antique E.C. Atkins & Co. hand saw was made in Indianapolis and is from the first half of the 1900's.  The medallion is brass and says "E.C. Atkins & Co., Pat. Dec. 27, 1887?, Indianapolis, Ind." and has their logo; the medallion is about 3/4" diameter.  There are three sawnuts, including the medallion.  The wood handle has a nice patina with a wheatleaf design.  The blade is about 20" long with about 9 points per inch.  The saw is about 5.25" high from the top of the handle to the bottom of the blade.  This vintage saw is in unrestored condition (see pics and condition description for more details).  This Atkins saw is old and is very hard to find; it would make a display item in a workshop, garage, barn, or man cave and would be a great addition to an antique saw collection!
