This is quite a rare piece of crested ware china by Carlton Ware.  It has the crest of WEMBLEY  with the flags of the Commonwealth and 1924 with underneath BRITISH EMPIRE EXHIBITION.  This exhibition was held as a Colonial Exhibition in 1924 and 1925 in Wembley to stimulate trade. This is in excellent condition with no chips cracks or repairs. There is some wear to the gold edging. - please see photos.  This has a base size of approx'y 8.8cm by 8.4cm and approx'y 6.8cm high.
