Fantastic Silver Plated Flatware 65 pc Set Kings II Pattern Gorham Mfg 1900-1910
Presented is a fantastic 65 piece silver plated set of flatware made in America by Gorham Manufacturing Co.
These flatware is in the Kings II pattern, featuring crisp classical decoration terminating in a acanthus or anthemion at the end of the handle. Some of the pieces have been monogrammed with a Gothic “C.” The following pieces are included (65 pieces total): 18 table knives 18 dinner forks 17 soup spoons 12 dessert forks The set comes in a “tarnish proof” storage tray/bag marked “Reed and Barton Hand Crafted Chests, Tarnish Proof Cloth.” The flatware is marked with “Gorham Mfg. Co.” We would date this set to around 1900-1910. This flatware is in good shape. All show signs of wear from use. Some show more pronounced wear, but there is no wear through the plating on the forks and spoons. The knives show some wear through the plating on the blades.
