This pen pays tribute to the father of science fiction, Jules Verne. It is decorated with wave pattern guilloche overlaid in brilliant blue enamel with platinum plated mountings. The guilloche pattern looks magnificent below the clear lacquer coupled with the platinum plated ends and cap edges and clip. The color is the shimmering blue of the deep sea with hints of purple and other colors. The curve edges of the cap and the piston knob give the pen a polished maritime theme. The nib, beautifully carved with the diving helmet motive, providing much of the visual interests. This pen is simply stunning.

The pen is is 5 13/16" (14.8 cm) long with a Fine 18 K gold gold nib featuring a raven engraving. All of the original packaging and papers are included. The pen uses the reliable Montblanc piston filler, so no 'converter' is necessary.
