What is Bio-Ceramic? Bio-Ceramic material is produced by combining various mineral oxides such as Silica, Aluminum, Magnesium and 20+ types of ceramics in order to generate thermal heat which is also called Far Infrared Rays. It is important to understand what Far Infrared Rays (F.I.R.) are and how beneficial they are to the body to best appreciate the value of this Bio-Ceramic material. When far infrared rays penetrate the skin, they come in contact with proteins, collagen, fats and water molecules and cause a thermal reaction that elevate tissue temperatures. Blood vessels are then dilated which improve circulation throughout the body.
