- Durch den Snap-In-Adapter wird das Telefon mit der Außenantenne des Fahrzeugs verbunden. Damit ist bestmöglicher Netzempfang speziell in Gebieten mit schlechter Netzabdeckung sichergestellt. Durch die Anbindung zur Außenantenne wird die Strahlung im Fahrzeuginnenraum reduziert.
- Der Snap-In-Adapter bietet eine besonders schnelle, optimierte Ladefunktion. Ist das Mobiltelefon im Snap-In-Adapter eingelegt, wird es im Vergleich zur USB-Buchse doppelt so schnell geladen.
- Tasten in Chrom-Optik verleihen dem Snap-In-Adapter ein hochwertiges Aussehen.
- Alle Snap-In-Adapter wurden gemäß den "Made for iPhone" (MFI) Richtlinien von Apple zertifiziert und gewährleisten somit ein optimales Zusammenspiel zwischen dem angeschlossenen Apple-Gerät und dem Fahrzeug.
- Der Snap-In-Adapter ist passgenau auf das iPhone 6™ abgestimmt und somit ein sicheres und stabiles Aufbewahrungssystem im Fahrzeug.
- Der Snap-In-Adapter besitzt einen integrierten Lüfter. Dieser ist darauf ausgelegt, dass der temperatursensible Bereich des Smartphones durch Luftzirkulation nicht überhitzt wird. So kann ein vorzeitiges temperaturbasiertes Abschalten des Gerätes verzögert oder gar verhindert werden.

In nur einem Handgriff wird das persönliche Kommunikations- & Entertainmentprogramm vom Mobiltelefon im Fahrzeug erlebbar. Neben dem schnellen Aufladen des Mobiltelefons sorgt der Snap-In-Adapter für eine sichere und stabile Aufbewahrung. Durch die induktive Kopplung der Außenantenne wird der optimale Netzempfang sichergestellt - auch in Gebieten mit schlechter Netzabdeckung. Für das iPhone 6™ wird die Variante Connect angeboten.
Der neue Snap-In-Adapter unterstützt die klassische Telefonie-Funktion und kann somit in allen Fahrzeugen ohne SA 6NS (ConnectedDrive Neuausrichtung) und ohne SA 6NF (Musie-Schnittstelle für Smartphone) eingesetzt werden. Darüber hinaus funktionieren mit diesem Snap-In-Adapter bei Fahrzeugen mit SA 6NS sämtliche Funktionen der Komforttelefonie einschließlich Entertainment und Apps (nur in Verbindung mit SA 6NR "BMW Apps").
Zusätzliche Vorteile für Fahrzeuge mit SA 6NS
- Im Fahrzeugdisplay können die Album-Cover des gerade gespielten Musiktitels angezeigt werden (abhängig von Fahrzeugausstattung und -baujahr). So können Lieder sofort einem Album oder Künstler zugeordnet werden ("Cover Art").
- Im Snapln-Adapter ist eine USB-Schnittstelle integriert. Die gespeicherten Musikstücke können so über den Musik-Player (abhängig von der Fahrzeugausstattung) komfortabel bedient und abgespielt werden. Die Wiedergabe erfolgt über das Fahrzeuglautsprechersystem.
- Mit der kostenlosen BMW App können interessante Zusatzfunktionen wie Webradio, Last Mile, Facebook- und Twitterzugriff im Fahrzeug verwendet werden. Diese App ist über den Apple App Store erhältlich. Die Nutzung der App in Fahrzeugen ist vom Baujahr und von der Ausstattung abhängig.

With the help of the inductive coupling of the external antenna, the optimal network coverage is guaranteed - even in areas with poor network coverage. For the iPhone 6™ the Connect variant is offered.
The new snap-in adapter supports the traditional telephony function and can therefore be used in all vehicles without SA 6NS (Connected Drive realignment) and without SA 6NF (Musie interface for Smartphone). In addition, with this snap-in adapter for vehicles with SA 6NS all functions of comfort telephony work including entertainment and apps (only in combination with option 6NR "BMW Apps").
Additional benefits for cars with SA 6NS
- In the vehicle display the album art of the currently playing song can be displayed (depending on vehicle equipment and year of construction). Thus, songs can immediately be assigned to an album or artist ("Cover Art").
- You will find an USB interface integrated in the Snapln adapter. Therefore the saved songs can conveniently be operated and played on the music player (depending on vehicle equipment). Playback is provided through the car speaker system.
- With the free BMW app it is possible to access interesting additional functions such as Web Radio, Last Mile, Facebook and Twitter access in the vehicle. This app is available through the Apple App Store. The use of the app in vehicles depends on the construction year and on the equipment of the car model.
