Cafe De Paris, by Dominquez. Decorative Ceramic Picture Tile, 8x8 (05649)

This item is in absolute brand new retail condition.

An elegant piece of artwork depicting two ladies in gowns drinking cocktails at Cafe De Paris. This tile can be either hung on a wall using the key-lock hole or stood up on the stand built into the back of the tile.

All of our ceramic picture tiles are produced in an incredible way. Individually hand painted and very tactile due to the pipe line effect which has been applied by a clay pipette to enhance the image. There are no worries at all about displaying these tiles in conservatories in direct sunlight as they are fired specially so they do not fade. We also ensure that the edges of the tiles are finished.

Item Specifics:

- All tiles (excluding 8x8") are supplied with a felt backing and picture hook, in some cases two are applied depending on the size of the tile.

- 8x8" ceramic picture tiles are fitted with a wooden back which comes complete with a hook for handing and also a built in wooden leg stand.

- If you wish to incorporate the tile into a tiled wall display you can. The backing can be removed please see instructions below.

- Ceramic tiles are not recommended for outdoor use although they can be displayed in direct sunlight.

- Each one of our tiles are painted by highly skilled artists, there may be very small differences tile to tile this is normal.

- All of our tiles are measured in inches.

 

Incorporating Into Tiled Walls:

To remove the backing from the ceramic tile is the same process for both wooden backs and felt backs.

1. Submerge the ceramic picture tile in warm soapy water up to 24 hours.

2. Use a non serrated knife i.e butter knife to dislodge the backing. Work around the tile evenly so not to snap the backing.

3. Repeat process until backing is removed.
