ONLY 14,000 ORIGINAL MILES
These Nomad two-door wagons were a
proto-type that was first shown as a Corvette Nomad in the Waldorf Astoria
hotel in New York for the General Motors Motorama in 1954. The
distinctive features were applied to the BelAir models and put into production
in 1955. Being one of the prettiest wagons ever built, these 57's were
the lowest production assembled with just 6,534 being made. General Motors
discontinued the original Nomad Sport Wagon at the end of the 1957 model year
due to low sales and the introduction of a new body for 1958.
This desirable Nomad has had one show
quality repaint in the attractive Adobe Beige/Sierra Gold complimented by
gorgeous tri-tone black/copper/beige upholstery. Equipped with the 283
cubic inch "power pack" four barrel V8 with dual exhaust, it has a
two speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes and rare factory
installed air conditioning. It's also a highly optioned car, desirables
include, power windows, power seat, electronic eye, radio & clock, tissue
dispenser, dual sport mirrors and rare vacuum ashtray. Four new Firestone
wide whites with spinner wheel covers also adorn this stunning classic. An
outstanding car for the discerning collector.
