Going to China for business or leisure ? Then this SIM card is a must ! The main reason being that local sim cards from within China are not all GSM compatible, as they tend to use the CDMA standard. As well as that, google and facebook sites are barred too, also most Chinese SIM cards have instructions in Chinese, compounds the problem further.
After the success of our previous offerings, we now have this new product which is good value, easy, and friendly to use ! And you can use it in 4 countries China, Hong Kong Taiwan and Macau ! We have now added HK$50 to the original SIM card, extending the Expiry Date by 3 months to 30th June 2016
There are basically 3 Mobile Operators in China; China Telecom, China Mobile and China Unicom. By far the biggest GSM Operators is the latter, and this SIM card comes from the its subsidiary in Hong Kong.
The main features are:
- Instructions in both Chinese and English
- Was designed with the tourist in mind, pricing are in Hong Kong dollars (approx £1 = HK$ 11)
- Can be easily activated whilst in Hong Kong or mainland China
- Has dual number functionality i.e. see picture 3 has a HK number 661428xx as well as a China mobile number 130458328xx in this example
- SIM card can be used in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau
- Has good value data plans where the data can be used in these 4 countries
- Can easily be topped up by credit card or PayPal
- All western web sites such as google maps, facebook, twitter are not barred unlike some sim cards brought in mainland China
- Free incoming calls in Hong Kong and China.
We are selling a brand new official China Unicom Dual-Number PAYG SIM card, preloaded with HK$80 credit. It is a combi sim card meaning both the micro and standard size are on a single SIM card. The SIM card comes complete with instructions in both English and Chinese. Just pop the SIM card into any unlocked GSM phone, activate it in either China or Hong Kong, and you are set to go.

Activation
Just insert the SIM card into an unlocked phone in China or Hong Kong, and wait for the signal, that's it ! Please note activation cannot be done in Taiwan or Macau.
Once activated the SIM card will valid for 90 days,unless it is topped up within this period.
Expiry date for our batch of SIM cards: (important)
30th June 2016
Every time a top up is made, the expiry of the sim will be extended e.g. top up HK$500 or more will extend the period by 540 days, see below.

To add further credit to your China Unicom SIM card, you will need to purchase recharge vouchers available in all China Unicom Mobile phone shops and all convenience stores in Hong Kong such as 7-ELEVEN and OK. Recharge instructions will be given on the voucher.

Where is my Mobile Number
The mobile number for your China Unicom SIM card can be found on a sticker attached to the plastic part of the SIM card, it is a 11-digit number starting 130xxxxxxxx, in int'l form it is +86 130xxxxxxxx for China, and 8 digit number starting 661xxxxx or +852 661xxxxx for Hong Kong.
