Sugru

Sugru is the exciting new self-setting rubber for fixing, modifying and making things. It bonds to almost anything. Apply it, shape it and it turns into a strong, flexible, waterproof rubber overnight.

1. Stick it
Sugru sticks permanently to lots of stuff like ceramics, glass, metal, wood, and most plastics and fabrics. That's exciting because it makes it very versatile, but also you can also use Sugru to bond unusual combinations of materials together.

2. Shape it
It's time to build, seal, fix, create, and stick things together. You have 30 minutes to get the job done.

3. Turns into rubber!
Give it 24 hours. Sugru turns into a durable, flexible silicone rubber that stays stuck (unless you remove it). Allow longer for pieces that are more than 3-5mm thick. Top tip: to speed up cure time place your project somewhere warm to cure.

Strong and Durable = Great Outdoors
Sugru is strong and durable. Once cured, it will also stand up to anything the weather throws at it, wet or dry, hot or cold - it will be great. It also won't fade in the sun and it's fine with sea water too!

Flexible when cured
When Sugru cures, it's flexible rather than rigid. Which means that you can use it on things that need to be able to move like textiles, cables, or shoes. It's also electrically insulating* - how awesome is that? *Be careful with electricity – stick to small consumer electronics repairs below 24 volts.

Soft touch and grippy
As Sugru is a silicone rubber, it feels soft to touch when it has cured, but is also grippy. This makes it perfect for handles and grips as it is comfortable but non-slip.

Stable at high and low temps
Sugru is resistant from -50°C (-58°F) to +180°C(356°F). It gets hot and cold but it won't get softer or harder or melt.

Waterproof
Once it's cured, Sugru is pretty much like other silicones - so it's completely waterproof. It's easy to clean with soap and water, and it's durable in the harsh conditions of your washing machine and dishwasher, and even in the sea.

Removable
Once cured, Sugru can be removed* by cutting it off with a sharp knife. Remove any residue with fingernails and tissue paper. * from non-porous materials

Shelf Life
Sugru will stay fresh for 13 months from the date it was made. If you use it within its date, the cured Sugru will last and last. (You'll find a Use By date on the back of each individual single use foil pack).
PRO TIP: If you keep Sugru in the fridge, you can triple the number of months you have left!

Food Safety
Once cured, Sugru is inert, but people can be allergic to anything, so we have to tell you to be careful. Sugru isn't certified as food safe yet, but we're working on it. For now, please resist the urge to eat it.

Sugru and Kids
Kids love Sugru - it's just like play dough when it comes out of the pack - but it's not certified as child safe, so it shouldn't be used by children.

All letter-sized orders are sent through Australia Post.

The options for the delivery of letters are as follows:

Standard Post - This is the cheapest, yet also slowest option. This delivery option takes roughly 2-6 business days
for Australia wide via Australia Post.
Priority Mail (shown as Express) - This is the mid-range option. Slightly faster than standard, taking approx 1-4
business days for Australia wide via Australia Post.
Express Post - This is the fastest option, which is for those next business day deliveries. This option
is generally overnight, or 2 nights for regional areas via Australia Post.
Registered Post - For extra assurance, your letter can be sent via Registered Mail, which will provide proof of
lodgement, tracking of your order, will require a signature on delivery and adds up to $100 compensation for loss or damage.

Parcels: Parcels are any products that are thicker than 20mm when packaged for sending.
Our parcels are sent through both Australia Post and FastWay Couriers.

The options for parcel delivery are as follows:

Standard Post - This is the cheapest, and also slowest option. This delivery option takes roughly 2-6 business days Australia wide
via FastWay couriers.
Australia Post Parcels - This is the mid-range option which is slightly faster than the standard option taking around
2-4 business days via Australia Post.
Australia Post Express Parcels - This is the fastest option, taking just 1 business day (2 to regional areas) via
Australia Post.

International postage fees are for the basic postal service that DOES NOT come with tracking.
