This listing is for an ANTIQUE SILVER ENGLISH CHATELAINE CHARM. It is beautifully executed with very fine detailing. I am parting with it only because it is a duplicate. There are 4 mini charms on the chatleaine: a pair of scissors, a penknife, a thimble and a heart shaped scent bottle on a chain.
The pieces test for silver content. There is a stamped mark/number RD 310734 on the back of the penknife. In terms of size; the thimple is just over 1/4" in height (not including the bale). The scissors is 11/16" long; the penknife 9/16" and the scent bottle under 1/2", all not including the bale or chain.
Over all the condition is excellent; there is some minor wear commensurate with age (visible under the loupe). This charm weighs 2.9 g.
