Antique reclaimed French Apple boxes, Also known as "Bushel crates" are the latest sought after product for many homes and businesses alike. These boxes have come straight in from France and we have bought these directly from the farmers themselves from many different regions of France. At present we are importing more and more stock each week to keep the prices low and to cut out the middle man. 

So one day they could be in a farm in France and a few days later they can be in your home. You don`t get more genuine than these!

These are heavy duty boxes, built to last the test of time and are over 50 years old. Most of those years have been outside and they are very rustic!  Don`t be surprised if there is the of blemish of countryside dirt or cobwebs. There may be the odd rusty nail and you may find some splits in the wood caused by the wind and rain from being in the fields for 50+ years. You may even come across an uneven slat, or slight difference in colour from crate to crate. A small number of these crates do not have the farmers branding on so although many of these are branded, we cannot guarantee that you`ll receive a branded box.

We won`t be washing or treating these boxes - Perfection isn`t always perfect - Their weathered rustic appearance gives them charm and is not something we would want to mess with.

There are many of these Apple Boxes being reproduced in the UK and currently being sold on ebay. If you want the new, smooth crisp clean look, please don`t buy our boxes.. instead, go for the reproductions which are immitations of our boxes.

If you want new, then don`t buy these BUT if you want genuine French weathered boxes, these are the ones to have!
