The DiMarzio AT-1™ was originally designed for a 25” scale, mahogany-body guitar, but it adapts very well to other instruments. It has enough bass and mids to warm up brighter guitars, and enough clarity for 24” scale set-necks as well.

DiMarzio DP187 Cruiser Pickups
If you’re a serious traditional Strat® player, you probably won’t want to know about pickups with side-by-side coils. But if you’re the player who’s up for something more modern with no 60-cycle hum, string drop-outs or sustain-killing magnet pull, we designed The Cruiser® for you. Harmonic overtones are right where you expect them to be from a “true” single-coil, and the mid-range is open and vocal-sounding. It’s hotter than the traditional single-coil, and the bass strings have a bit more chunk; this is an excellent pickup to combine with medium-output humbuckers, and it maintains its tonal identity with high-gain amps and multiple effects.

The obvious question about The Cruiser® is “How does it compare to a single-coil sound?” Our feeling is that the unwound strings (“E”, “B”, and “G”) are very close, and the wound strings (“D”, “A”, and low “E”) are fatter-sounding than a true single-coil. There's also a midrange scoop that's unique to the Cruiser Bridge. This is really effective for getting big-sounding chords, because high and low strings sound more spread out from each other. Having a total magnet pull that's about 40% less than standard single-coils also means The Cruiser® can be adjusted much closer to the strings for more power than stock pickups can achieve.

We do our very best to help customers when they request to return an item. Customer service is our first and foremost concern. However, there are a few items that are non-returnable. Although unlikely, on occasion an item gets damaged while in transit. If you receive an order and you believe there is shipping damage, call a Sigler Music team member immediately. If necessary, Sigler Music will handle the freight damage claims process and also provide you with replacement options. Usually when a box shows some wear and tear, the product inside is in perfect condition. Please be sure to inspect the contents. The shipping carton and packing materials are designed to protect the product from normal shipping and handling.
Products with manufacturer defects are rare. If you receive a product that you believe is defective, call Sigler Music immediately to speak with a product specialist. If necessary, a return authorization will be provided. The product will be returned to the manufacturer or to our facility and a replacement will be shipped to you (if a replacement is available). Upon inspection, if we determine the product failed within 30 days of purchase, Sigler Music will cover the freight cost to have the replacement shipped to you. ***Please Note: Oversize items need to be repaired locally whenever possible.
