1960s JOHN EDWARDS MacGregor 6174 Catchers Mitt Vintage Baseball Glove

Offered is a 1960s JOHN EDWARDS MacGregor 6174 Catchers Mitt Vintage. This is a beautiful mitt all around and feels like a professional quality mitt of the era. The mitt is stamped with MacGregor and the model number 6174. All of the stampings in the palm are easily readable. The center of the pocket is darker from use but the leather is in nice condition. The glove is about 10.5"x9.5". The black MacGregor label is is excellent condition. The mitt's web is also in nice condition. there is a name written on the back an a black ink spot just above.
The piping is in excellent condition, especially for a catchers mitt that was actually used. All of the lacing appears to be intact. The inside is in excellent condition with no rips or holes. The glove is flexible and broken in well. The leather is smooth with a great leather smell. The glove has no holes.
Overall, this mitt is in overall excellent condition. It is a really nicely preserved item. It is endorsed by the all star Johnny Edwards. Please see images for condition. Stand not included. 
Johnny Edwards played for the Reds, Cardinals, and Astros in his 14 year career. He was a 3x All Star, and 2x Gold Glove. He hit .242 for his career with 1106 Hits and 524 RBI. He had 4 hits in a 1961 World Series Game. He was considered one of the best defensive catchers in the NL.
