Rare Fritz Lang Metropolis False Maria 16'' CCC Compulsive Pewter Resin Figure

THIS WAS AN EXTREMELY LIMITED EDITION: 
A beautifully sculpted statue of Maria The Robot standing 16 inches tall

 This is a well observed model of one of the most instantly recognisable robots in film history, the False Maria Robot from Fritz Lang's fabulous Art Deco masterpiece Metropolis. 
It was made by Compulsion Gallery and was at that time a piece of genuine licensed merchandise. 
Since Compulsion Gallery ceased trading, their models and in particular this huge Maria statue have become real collectors must haves. 
Their products were made of high density resin thermally plated in Pewter. 
This was then hand polished and lacquered to retain the just burnished look. 

Unlike metal powder filled resin casts which go dull within a couple of days of polishing them, these thermally plated products always remain bright and need no maintenance apart from dusting.  

I apologise for the high overseas postage costs, but this is a heavy expensive item, weighing 2.5kg before packing.
