MALABRIGO RIOS
ARCO IRIS (866)

100% Pure Merino Superwash Wool

This is the fabulous Malabrigo Rios superwash Merino yarn."Rio" means river in Spanish and Malabrigo Rios is named after the four major rivers in Uruguay: Rio Cuareim, Rio Uruguay, Rio de la Plata and Rio Negro. Each river is represented by one ply and these plies twist together like winding rivers. Rios also signifies the yarns washability.

Spun from the finest merino wool and kettle dyed to produce colourful and sumptuous soft skeins, with subtle variations in colour and texture only hand dyed yarns have.

Hand wash and dry flat. Stored in a smoke and pet-free environment.

Note: As with any hand dyed yarn, there can be significant shade differences between skeins within a dye lot, so we recommend that you alternate skeins every few rows, to prevent striping. Rastita comes in dye lots of 5. We will always endeavour to select your skeins from the same dye lot and will contact you if this is not possible. If we don't have enough in stock for your project, please contact us as we can usual order more in for you within a few days.
