These Quick Release Bumper Fasteners are designed to give your bumper a secure attachment to your vehicle but with the benefit of easy removal. These fasteners are of great benefit if you have a track or drift car and require easy and quick access to make repairs or adjustments to the front of the vehicle and also massively beneficial when loading vehicles on to towing transportation. They also give the car a performance car look and add a nice bit of colour to the cars exterior. They take minutes to install and make an instant impact.

The Fastener washers are made from aircraft grade T6061 aluminium. The hard-anodised aluminium will give a long lasting shine and colourful look.

The kit is of universal fitment and will work effectively on a wide range of cars and vehicles. The kit is designed for practical use but also works fantastically as an aesthetic part giving your vehicle the race-car look.

Fitting Instructions

Step 1 – Location Decisions
The 2 fasteners must be able to have the rubber O-Ring fastener attached around them to create a secure attachment to the front/rear arch and the bumper so please bare this in mind when deciding on a suitable location for both parts of the fastener

Step 2 – Marking
Once you have decided on a suitable location, hold the anodised fastener washers in place and mark the centres using either a centre punch or a permanent marker/paint pen.

Step 3 – Drilling
Select a suitable drill bit large enough to fit the stainless bolt though the hole but not too large that is will not allow the use of large washers, 8mm should be suitable. Drill each hole carefully. Holes drilled in metal panels such as front wings should be covered with an anti-rust protection around the bare metal drilled area to prevent the metal from corroding.

Step 4 – Fitting
Once the holes are drilled, place the anodised fastener over the hole lining up the centre hole with the hole in the panel. Place the countersunk bolt through the fastener and panel hole and secure on the rear with the small washer and lock nut.
Once both there is a fastener secured to the wing/quarter panel and one on the adjoining bumper, secure both together using the rubber O-Ring. This rubber O-Ring can be used as an O or figure 8 configurations.

Step 5 – Relax
This step is simple, just step back and admire your handy work. I think its time for a brew!
