Vintage ACORN WIRE IRON WORKS Russwin Metal Brass/Bronze Door Gate DEADBOLT LOCK

Offered here is a vintage dead bolt door/gate lock made by Acorn Wire & Iron Works of "New York / Chicago / Los Angeles / Dallas". 

It is composed of a non magnetic metal. It has a brass/bronze key lock, made by Russwin; on the back there is a brass knob or dial. Also on back, it is embossed "Acorn Partitions". 

It does not include a key. 

It is in very nice looking condition. I am not certain whether or not it works. 

It feels very structurally sound and solid. It has some red paint on it from whatever it was previously used for. The brass/bronze pieces have some scratches & have developed some patina.
