Rolleiflex 6006 medium format film camera with Rollei Planar 2,8-80mm lens

Rollei of Brauschweig have been building medium format cameras since 1928 and therefore have the widest experience in this field ahead of all their competitors.

The SLX was on sale in 1976, then evolved to a MKII version with improved electronics and a more austere appearance in 1978. That was built until 1985.

It was succeded by the 6002, 6006 and 6008. The 6006 got exchangeable film magazines, which that wors with film-inserts, which can be rapidly exchanged and are much cheaper than complete magazines.
