TaylorMade M1 Special Edition Driver ... The
M1's personalized distance and control takes on a patriotic look with
the M1 Special Edition Driver!
• Multi-Material
Construction ... M stands for Multi-Material and it’s the key that
unlocks performance in M1. This construction is highlighted by
TaylorMade's proprietary 7-layer Carbon Composite Crown that is
precision-formed and built ultra-thin, ultra-lite and high strength to
maximize weight savings. This addition has allowed TaylorMade to build a
weight-loaded sole and move overall clubhead weight (and, thus, the
center-of-gravity) lower for a more efficient power transfer; giving
golfers more ball speed. The Carbon Composite Crown has also allowed
TaylorMade to give golfers 25 grams of multi-directional adjustability,
allowing them to personalize launch conditions – fit to their swing -
and optimize ball-flight, trajectory and, ultimately, distance.
• T-Track System ... One of the primary reasons that this is
TaylorMade's longest driver is that there are more options to
personalize performance to fit every player. The Front Track has one 15
gram weight to provide multiple draw, neutral and fade settings and the
Back Track has one 10 gram weight for multiple high, medium and low
launch and spin settings.
• Performance for Every Swing... TaylorMade's longest driver, the M1 has
a multi-material construction - featuring an ultra-thin, ultra-light and
high-strength carbon composite crown – that unlocks breakthroughs in
distance, playability, and feel for all golfers. Each golfer has a
unique swing and in the past it’s been challenging to provide ideal
launch conditions to all player types with a single club. The
construction of M1 allows better players to create the shot they want
and other golfers, the shot they need.
• Aesthetically, the M1 Special Edition features the same white forward
section, while the carbon composite crown has been tinted a translucent
dark blue color. Additionally, the driver incorporates a red T-bug logo
alignment aid, red & blue T-Track weights, white PVD face & sole and a
custom red aluminum sleeve in addition to an American flag on the
driver's toe. The 12 position loft sleeve provides up to four degrees of
loft adjustment, the T-Track can be set for more/less draw/fade and
higher/lower trajectory. TaylorMade worked exclusively with shaft
manufacturer Fujikura Composites on a custom Speeder 661 Tour Spec
Special Edition shaft created specifically for the Special Edition M1.
Limited in production, the M1 Special Edition includes the Golf Pride Z
Grip Patriot Grip.
• Along with the custom Fujikura shaft, the M1 Special Edition driver is
housed in a premium full leather headcover, the same used by
TaylorMade's Tour staffers at the season's second major championship.
