MPM 1/72 Focke Wulf Fw189A-1 Night Fighter

The Focke Wulf FW189 was a tactical reconnaisance aircraft used by the Luftwaffe, mainly on the Eastern front. Some A-1 models were converted into night fighters to combat the slow flying bi-planes the Russians were using to harass German troops at night. Radar was fitted along with an upward firing MG151 20mm cannon in the dorsal position.

MPM is a Czech based manufacturer and this is their 1/72 FW189A-1 Night Fighter kit. The kit is injection moulded plastic and is well detailed with engraved panel lines, the kit also contains resin and etch metal parts.

Markings are provided for 2 Luftwaffe Fw190A-1's
