Beginning with the release of Mario Bava's THE GIRL WHO KNEW TOO MUCH in 1963, Italian filmmakers developed and perfected their own peculiar brand of mystery-thriller known as the giallo. Named after the yellow (giallo in Italian) covers of the murder mysteries published by Mondadori, the giallo is awash in fetishistic imagery. For many fans, these films—popularized in the works by writer-director Dario Argento, whose name is synonymous with the genre, thanks to such films as THE BIRD WITH THE CRYSTAL PLUMAGE and DEEP RED—focus on stylized images of violent death: killers dressed in black stalking glamorous-looking victims through baroque architecture, literally painting the walls red with their blood. This is only one aspect of the giallo, however. With their groovy soundtracks by legendary composers like Ennio Morricone and Stelvio Cipriani and glamorous damsels-in-distress like Edwige Fenech, Rosalba Neri and Asia Argento, these films offer a heady mixture of sex, horror and suspense; at their best, they took excess to a hypnotic level. United States:

In the interest of better/faster service for all my bidders from the US I am changing the way I deal with packages going to the US. ALL parcels will now be shipped via FIRST CLASS with TRACKING NUMBER from New York State. It will improve the speed/readability of all packages, you'll have a tracking number and since everything will ship from the US there will never be any issues with Duties or Taxes. Normally takes 3-5 Business days to arrive.

Canada:

All Canadian items will ship from CANADA. So no Duty or Tax concerns what so ever. I use Canada Post... while it is expensive and a little unpredictable... that's all we have really. Canada is pretty big, so it can take between 3-12 days to arrive.

Rest of the World:

I've been shipping my collection around the world for over 20 years! I want to continue to do so, so in general (unless otherwise noted) all my auctions are open to anyone world wide. I ship overseas packages via AIRMAIL! Naturally it is a big world out there, and not every postal service is created equal... but normally packages take 10-20 days to arrive via AIRMAIL.

Sadly I needed to create a list of countries that I do no ship to. Simply can’t afford to supply customs officials (or whoever) with free goods.

India, Mexico and Brazil. If you live in those countries please do not bid on my auctions.

Please remember, I do my best at this end. But once a package leaves my hands there is little I can do. The number of lost packages has been really low considering the 10000+ I've sent around the world.
