Please measure your handlebars carefully as we cannot accept a return if they are marked, or you have fitted or tried to fit them!
How to measure:
There are 2 vital measurements you need to make to ensure that the handlebars will fit your bike.
1. Clamp diameter. This is the bulge at the centre of the bars that fit into the stem. There are 3 standard diameters: 25.4mm
(1 inch), usually for straight bar bikes or MTBs, 26.0mm and 31.8mm (1 1/4"), usually for road bikes with dropped handlebars. You can fit a narrower bar to a wider stem, using the handlebar shims that we sell.
2. Grip diameter. This is the smaller diameter at the ends of the bars, where the handlebar grips, brake levers and shifters
fit. There are 2 standard diameters 22.2mm (usually MTB or straight bars) and 23.8mm (road bikes or dropped bars)
Use a vernier caliper to measure your existing handlebars, or if you are buying a new stem, shifters, grips or brake levers
make sure they match the the handlebars you are using.
