The Classic Swiss made shoe and style for the well presented
The Bally
hallmark is the crafting of exquisite leather. Since 1851,
Bally has been globally recognized for its 'Swiss Made' quality
and its contemporary style.
The Bally
name became synonymous with highly functional, quality shoes
and famously graced the soles of dancers, soldiers, pioneers, sportsmen
and even astronauts' footwear.
Sir Edmund Hillary relied on Bally hiking boots
for his first ever Mount Everest climb in 1953. Even NASA collaborated with
Bally for the creation of the sole that took the famous 'giant leap for
mankind' in the boots of Neil Armstrong during the historic first moonwalk in
1969.
Only the very highest quality materials
are used.
Our aim is to uphold this tradition and
continue making the most handsome, comfortable and durable shoes we can.

Foot and
Shoe size how to measure what’s right for you
The sizes of the left and right feet are
often slightly different. Purchase a shoe size based upon the larger foot.
Add 17 mm or 0.7 of an inch to foot size -
that is the internal length for you!
There is a fair amount of give here so 15 to
20 mm will be fine 0.6 to 0.8 inches – better larger than smaller so if in
doubt go bigger!
How to
measure your feet – Best late in day as your feet expand on use
Wear socks that you would wear for the shoes
you want. Take a piece of paper and a pen. Lay the paper against a wall on a
flat firm surface - wood or tile.
Stand on the paper with your heel against the
wall. Mark the end of the longest part of both feet - usually your 1st or 2nd
toe – at 180 degrees from end of toe – straight down in other words. Measure both feet – use the length of the
longest foot.
