Item (1814) early production 2.57 reduction unit for Borg Warner Velvet Drive marine Transmissions. From transmission model AS14-72C.  This is the early production unit removed from a late 70's  transmission.  Used but Excellent condition removed from a very low hour, working transmission (boat was re-powered with diesels early on and has been sitting on the shelf since).
