The warranty on this computer is the same as if you were to buy it new. It is a Dell manufacturer's warranty that will be transferred into your name when the auction is over. If you have any hardware issues with the computer, we ask that you go through Dell. Please do not buy this computer if you don't agree. If something doesn't seem to be working right, call Dell/Alienware at 1-800-624-9897 - they have excellent service! This warranty applies only in the USA. If you travel outside of the USA and want warranty coverage overseas, there still may be a warranty, but you must check with Dell to determine exact warranty coverage. Our items are 100% certified manufacturer refurbished by Dell. "Refurbished" just means that a customer ordered a computer from Dell, and for some reason they returned it to Dell. Most returns are because the customer decided they just didn't want the computer, or sometimes it is because the customer had an issue with the computer. In either case, Dell checks the PC over, cleans it up, replaces any items that need to be fixed, and then resells the it to us as " certified refurbished." Usually the computers look almost new, but occasionally they will have a cosmetic blemish, like a scratch. The screen is NEVER scratched. Minor scratches are usually on the lid or the bottom of the laptop or on the bottom of a tablet.
