Star Wars Vintage Kenner ESB 41-D Back Yoda Dark Green/Orange Snake MOC AFA 80
Offered is a Vintage Kenner Star Wars Empire Strikes Back 41-D Back Yoda (Dark Green Figure/Orange Snake) MOC in AFA 80 (NM+) condition. The sub-grades on this piece are: Card 80, Bubble 85, Figure 85. This is an extremely rare carded example of a Dark Green Yoda Figure with an Orange Snake. The dark green ESB version of Yoda was a transition version available only for a very short time on a limited number of 41-D back examples. All prior examples have the light green skin Yoda, an orange snake, and a light cane. All later examples have a light green skin Yoda, a brown snake, and a dark cane. The only Yoda which would eventually come close in color is the Made in Mexico ROTJ / Lili Ledy version of the figure but that too is different. Therefore this US Kenner version of the figure is one of the rarest variations known. In addition to the skin color variant, this variation still has the orange snake, but has a dark cane. This specific example is one of only a handful of carded examples we are aware of and came directly from an ex-Kenner employee.
