For sale a Royal Mint presentation pack for the First United Kingdom Bi-Colour Coin "Minting The Two-Pound Trial Piece" 1994. The pack contains the 4 stages in the minting of the new Bi-Colour £2 Coin, comprising of :-

 The Outer Blank,

The Inner Blank,

 The Outer: edge raised & lettered, pierced + Inner: Rimmed & edge grooved

 The completed Trial Piece

The £2 Trial piece featuring a Sailing Ship was not released for circulation and can only be obtained in these trial packs. The presentation pack folder also includes information relating to the minting of the new £2 coin.
