DESCRIPTION:
For your consideration here is a lovely old unmarked composition doll with painted molded blue hair bow. Reference shows similar dolls made in the early 1930s by several firms including Freundlich, Averill, Ideal and others. She is all composition jointed at the shoulders and legs with fingers intact. Composition wear, line crazing, scuffs throughout, see photos. Great little face with painted dark eyes, worn brows and closed little mouth. Wavy painted molded brown hair with blue molded bow. Some paint and composition lifting on the hair areas. Wears vintage dress that snaps down the back, undies, stockings and shoes. This is an "adorable" old composition doll for collection or display!
