You are bidding on a VESTEL lcd tv repair kit. Do you have a HITACHI, SANYO, TOSHIBA, TECHWOOD , DIGIHOME, ALBA, BUSH LCD40883F, Hitachi 42LDF30U, Hitachi L42VC04U, ACOUSTIC SOLUTIONS (other models covered see below) if so has it developed one of these faults:

Tv dead, slow to come on

standby light goes out and then comes back on again

If so you need your tv power supply(psu) repairing (board number 17pw26-4), this will cost £100+ at a Tv repair shop, why not repair it yourself and save £££.

Have you ever used a soldering iron or know someone who can?? then this is probably ok for you.

The kit comes with seven components some solder and desoldering braid, full step by step instructions are supplied on two sheets of A4 paper including photographs, you will need to have a soldering iron, wire cutters, screwdriver and a faulty TV!!  I am a fully qualified tv engineer with over 20 years experience, I have repaired many of these psu's and to me this is a very easy repair, I know that if you have adequate soldering skills and follow these instructions you too can perform this repair.

As with any repair the final outcome depends on your own skill and ability, please seek professional help if you are not confident/competent at performing this repair.We will accept no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury that may occur.

Note: This kit will only fix the above listed tv's fitted with 17pw26-4, 17pw26-3, 17pw26-1 psu boards.
