Rare Antique Alice's Adventures in Wonderland Book Lewis Carroll Henry Altemus 

Up for consideration is an antique copy of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll published by henry Altemus.

This copy may be one of Altemus’s Young People’s Library, but I am not sure. There is not a printed copyright date nor any indication of the name of the illustrator. I suspect that it may be Tenniel.

The gold title on the front and spine is essentially rubbed out, but the floral border is still bright and lovely. The spine ends are bumped.

The inside pages are clean, slightly yellowed but no marks. There is a very slight tiny tear at the bottom of the interior book cover facing.

The book measures approximately 4 3/8” x 6 ¼”. It’s a smaller edition.
