Amebelodon is a member of a diverse group of primitive proboscideans called gomphotheres, a group that also gave rise to the modern elephants and their close relative the mammoth. The most striking attribute of this animal is its lower tusks, which are narrow, elongated, and distinctly flattened with the degree of flattening varying among the different species.

Dinosaurs were a diverse group of animals.   Dinosaurs first appeared during the Triassic period and were the dominant terrestrial vertebrates from the beginning of the Jurassic until the end of the Cretaceous. The Dinosaur era came to an end when the Cretaceous-Paleogene extinction event led to the elimination of most dinosaur groups at the close of the Mesozoic Era.

Payment:   Payment is expected within 3 days of auction end or "Buy It Now".  PayPal is the only form of payment accepted.

Shipping:   We ship out every morning Monday - Friday and most Saturdays unless there is a postal holiday.  Handling time is a day or less.  
We are happy to combine shipping on multiple items to save on shipping costs. Please wait for a combined shipping invoice.  
Most packages are shipped via the United States Postal Service by the quickest but most economical rate.  At times, we may use UPS.  Buyers must provide us a shipping address that is deliverable by the US Postal Service .  Failure to comply to this will result in the Buyer being responsible for additional shipping charges if the item is returned to us for this reason.  
Shipping to the USA only.  There will be additional shipping charges to Alaska, Hawaii, military addresses and US protectorates.

Returns:   We offer a 30-Day "Hassle Free" return policy through eBay.  Buyer is responsible for the return shipping fees.
