These knife sheaths are hand crafted, made from 3mm Real Leather, stitched and riveted. The sheath outer is lacquered, which gives it the overall sheen and protects the leather. It'll fit on a 38mm belt, like the one in the picture. Laid flat the sheath is 70mm/2&6/8" wide by 80mm/3&1/8" high.

One of the problems of putting a pouch in your pocket is that it naturally collects dirt and other debris through normal use. Of course dirt and debris is abrasive. This sheath is open-ended to allow that dirt to just fall out and away from your knife. The open bottom of the sheath also helps you get your knife out. Just push the knife up from the bottom to take it out.

The black knife in the picture is a KA-BAR Warthog and has dimensions (closed) 115mm/4.5" long by 30mm/1.25" wide by 11mm/5/8" deep so you can judge the size. The sheath would accommodate a slightly bigger folder if necessary.

The Warthog is quite a large knife and quite heavy and tends to weight the pocket down, a pouch like this is ideal, and you don't wreck you belt using the knife belt clip. Also good for the Leatherman Skeletool and other similar multitools with belt clips. However may not be suitable for all types.

Due to the thickness of the leather, and for ease of getting the knife in and out the pouch you will need to slightly bend the belt clip on your knife.
