This gorgeous doll is relisted so PLEASE understand that while this doll is a walker/flirty eye doll, it does not have a keywind. The flirty eye function relies on gravity to work and she must be manually manipulated to "walk" and for the head to move side to side and for the cry to work.
Description
Offered in this listing is a beautiful, antique French Market 22" Simon Halbig 1039 flirty eyed bisque head doll with a walker body and crier. The crier makes a "mama" sound when the legs are moved. When her legs are moved she turns her head from side to side and her adorable flirty eyes move as well! SO cute! She has excellent bisque with no breaks, cracks, chips, or hairlines. She has lovely, pale bisque with blushed cheeks (tiny skip or rub to left cheek); an open slightly smiling mouth with red lips, darker shading lines, and 4 white teeth; a cute button nose with red nostril dots; original brown glass sleeping, flirty eyes that work perfectly and have full lid wax (missing "real" lashes); eyes are surrounded by delicately painted upper and lower lashes and there are red inner eye dots; full, thick multi-stroke brows. She has pierced through ears, although I cannot get earrings in them. I do not know if there is a flaw in the bisque or if something is obstructing the earring holes. I haven't tried to force earrings through, as I do not want to damage the bisque. She has a fully jointed composition body with straight wrists. The finish is 100% original. There is chipping to the finish at the joints and a few other areas (especially the back of the right upper arm). There is a little chipping to the finish at the toes, but no missing or broken toes. The index finger on the left hand is missing. The flirty eyes (and sleep) tend to stick sometimes, or possibly the weight is dragging a bit. It still works however, but may need a little tweaking to give seamless movement. She is appropriately redressed in a vintage (likely 1980's) French style dress with lots and lots of pretty lace and a matching bonnet. She is wearing antique cotton undies. Her black human hair wig is antique. If you have any questions or would like additional photos, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Terms of Sale
Please
ask questions before bidding. I guarantee my items to be 100%
authentic and as described or your money back, no questions asked. I
accept returns for any reason, but return shipping is the
responsibility of the buyer. Items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received, carefully re-packaged, and insured (if item is over $50.00 USD). Items
shipped within the United States must be sent back within 14 days after
receipt of item (within 25 days if shipped internationally). No partial refunds!!! You are either happy with the item, or you are not. Item must be returned for any kind of refund.
Payment
Payment is expected within 48 hours of auction end (when paying via Paypal), per eBay
guidelines. I will make
exceptions to this, but if you need to pay later than 48 hours, then please contact me BEFORE BIDDING
to make arrangements. I expect payment to be made when promised. If
the agreed late payment is not paid on the expected date, a non-paying
bidder report will be filed. No arrangements for late payment will be made after the auction ends. If
payment is made by e-check, then I will not ship the item until after
the e-check clears. Again, if no payment is received within 48 hours
after auction end (unless prior arrangements are made), then a
non-paying bidder report will be automatically generated by ebay's
system. I absolutely will accept other forms of payment. Please contact me for alternate payment options.
Bidder Requirements
Any
bidder with less than a 10 positive feedback rating should contact me
before bidding. I reserve the right to cancel bids from those with less
than "10" feedback rating, or those with excessive negative feedback
(received or left for others), or whose feedback is "private".
Shipping
Items
are usually shipped within 1 business day, but sometimes if I have a
large auction it may take me 2 business days. All items will have the
tracking number automatically uploaded when I print the shipping label.
I charge actual shipping. If the amount charged on your invoice
turns out to be more than the actual cost, I will reimburse any overage.
I always pay to insure any items that sell for over $50.00. I do not
charge my customers for insurance. On rare occasions, I will charge a small handling fee. This is usually done when an item is very large and requires a large, expensive box and lots of packing material. Any item selling for $250.00 USD or
more will be sent with signature confirmation, no exceptions (due to
ebay's new policy for sellers). I do combine shipping. If you
win 2 or more items, please wait to pay until I send you a combined
shipping invoice. This will save you money. I cannot combine shipping
for an item once it has been paid for. Sometimes the shipping
calculator can be incorrect. If the amount looks too large (or small)
please contact me for the correct shipping amount. I only charge exact
shipping. I do not charge a handling fee. If shipping is ever
overcharged, I always refund the difference.
