We believe in FULL disclosure to our customers so, please, read on... here's the story on this watch:  it came to us damaged - meaning that all four (4) screws that hold the battery plate were damaged and could not be removed... yeah, sad... folks think they can fix watches and end up over tightening the screws and destroying the heads.  Bottom line:  we were able to save TWO of the four screws and the case threads - meaning that we failed to save the other two and thread damaged occurred.  We cleaned and installed a new battery on the unit and, yes, it is running perfectly.  In order NOT to discard the unit, we cut two screws and glued them to the case since the thread was already ruined.  Both can be pried open and re-glued for battery change, but you get the picture... the case has been permanently damaged.  The other two screws are just fine/replaced and tightened to specifications. 

You have two choices:  use the watch until the battery runs out (a year or two on these lithium batteries) and discard the watch or go through the hassle of prying the two damaged screws and replacing the battery to keep the unit going.  We did what we could to save the unit... you'll have to be the judge of how much the unit is worth to you... I'd be careful submerging this watch since the waterproofing has been compromised.  Otherwise, it will give you a ton of use...  the two compromised screws are at the bottom or the screws at the 6 o'clock position (rear battery plate).  You can hardly tell on the unit, but there it is... full disclosure. We're starting the unit at $50 since it will give you a year or two plus the band and all internal components to sell down the line if you decide to part ways with it since everything works fine...  the crystal looks MINT (clear) to us... may have a super light scratch but we could not see it.  UNIT WILL FIT UP TO A 6.5" WRIST.  Obviously, we will not be accepting RETURNS on this unit... sorry!
