I just slabbed up another hunk of Ocean Jasper that I had got about 7 years ago when I bought a large group that had come into the states a couple years before that. This was #2 grade but very close to the top grade #1. The piece ended up having some premium slabs with many of the colors of the rainbow and tiny orbs, so I decided I would list one of the slabs in my ebay store. The slab is really solid in most areas but it does also have some small vugs like most of the ocean jasper has that you could either work around or incorporate into the cabs you cut. It does appear to be pretty solid with only a few short stress fractures in one small area near a corner that I see. The matrix is a combination of most colors of the rainbow varying from pink, red, orange, lavender, white, tan, with some shades of green color and it has some small orbital areas in some of the piece to cab. You should get many really nice cabs out of the slab or it would make a super nice display slab if you flat lap it. The slab is about 6.75"x6.1"x1/4" thick. The total weight of the slab is 14.4 ounces. Look at the pictures to get an idea as to the size, shape, and colors of the slab. I am listing this slab at a price of $28.99 which just barely covers my cost. I am sure anybody that buys this slab will be happy with it. Look at the pictures which were taken with the slab wet under natural sunlight sky through the window of my shop, then decide for yourself what it is worth.
I most likely will ship all my pieces USPS priority mail with tracking. I should also tell you that if this group is shipped overseas I will charge the exact shipping charge plus $1 for the box, that I am quoted by the Postal Service which most probably will be a bit higher than to locations in the USA.
