Shipping & Deliveries

We ship goods to all areas of Mainland UK including Northern Ireland and Isle of Man. For shipping for the rest of the Channel Island and outside the UK please contact us at 08001216097 or you can also send as an e-mail via our contact page on the website and we will advise you accordingly.

Shipping & Delivery Details

We aim to dispatch your orders on the same day provided that you ordered before 11:00 am or if you place your order after 11:00 am it will be dispatch the next working day (Not Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays). Therefore, orders placed after 2pm on a Thursday will be dispatch on Friday. Orders Placed on Friday after 2pm will be dispatched on the following Monday. In some cases where we are out of stock or waiting for delivery the shipping time can be upto 30 days. If this happens we will contact you and let you know what is happening. Then you can choose to wait for delivery or get a refund.

If for any reason this cannot be achieved we will notify you as soon as possible and will be given the option to cancel your order with full refund.

We use Royal Mail or a similar courrier dependent on the weight of your purchase. (Royal Mail upto 6kg weight)

Standard Delivery Service (Using Royal Mail Service or similar) - within 1 to 5 working days
For next day delivery please call with order and we will add your order to the system the cost for next day delivery will be £19.99 + VAT.

A signature will be required on delivery of your goods. If there is no one available to sign for your goods a card will usually be left advising you of what action needs to be taken. This usually involves collection the item from your local Royal Mail Depot.

We cannot be held liable for delays in delivery due to third party.

If your goods cannot be delivered for any reason and returned to us, the cost of the goods will be refunded in full less a £20.00 + vat charged to cover packing and administration cost.

If it becomes apparent that your order has been lost in the post, we will re-send your order at no cost to you after confirming the lost with Royal Mail (or similar courrier) . Please do allow up to four weeks for them to confirm the loss.

CANCELLATION AND RETURNS POLICY

1 If you wish to cancel your order:

(a) you can notify us by email to info@rickardsecurity.combefore we have dispatched the goods to you; or

(b) where goods have already been dispatched to you, by returning goods to us in accordance with clause

2 You can return goods you have ordered from us for any reason at any time within 14 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange. The costs of returning goods to us shall be borne by you.

3 Upon receipt of the goods we will give you a full refund of the amount paid or an exchange credit as required.

4 The rights to return the goods to us as referred to in clause 4.3 will not apply in the following circumstances: - in the event that the product has been used
The provisions of this clause 4.4 do not affect your statutory rights.
