The face value of this prepaid SIM card is HK$138. HK$88 will be deducted for the 1 GB 4G data and HK$2 administration fee will be deducted immediately once activated.  The remaining HK$48 is for voice / text.

Subsequent HK$2 administration fee will be deducted every 30 days automatically.

Voice Service

·         Customers can only enjoy voice service in Hong Kong.

·         HK$48 can be used as voice/text credit

·         HK local airtime – HK$0.25 /min

·         HK IDD call to China – HK$0.25/min

 

Text Service

·         Customers can only enjoy text service in Hong Kong. HK$48 can be used as voice/text credit

·         Free incoming SMS in HK.

·         HK to HK outgoing SMS is HK$1/ SMS. 

·         HK to overseas outgoing SMS is HK$3/ SMS.

 

Activation

·         Once inserted into the mobile device in Hong Kong or Mainland China, this prepaid SIM card will be activated. HK $88 face value for the 1 GB 4G data and HK$2 as monthly administration fee will be deducted once activated. Subsequent HK$2 administration fee will be deducted every 30 days automatically.

·         If the balance amount is insufficient, this prepaid SIM card will be suspended without prior notice. Customers must refill the SIM card to re-activate the service.

·         Service is valid from the day upon activation to the 90^th day 23:59 (HK time). Then the voice and data service will be suspended. The unused value and data will be forfeited once the SIM’s validity expires.

·         When use the service in Mainland China, please enable data roaming option in your internet device. Internet device APN setting: mb

·         4G Network: HK-FDD LTE, Mainland China-TDD LTE. When customer is located out of 4G coverage in HK or China, Multibyte will provide service to customer via 3G/2G EDGE network

Expiration

·         SIM card will expire on 31 March 2018 without activation.

·         Mobile data service is valid from activation till the 90th day 23:59 (Hong Kong time).

·         When usage has reached 1GB as maximum, customers can top up to continue the service.

Recharge

There are two options to top up:

·         Go to MB website http://webpay.multi-byte.com.cn/login.php, use credit card to top up.

·         Go to 7 Eleven stores in HK, bring the package jacket with the bar code printed on the back, scan the bar code and recharge.

Handset Setting

·         Handset enable data roaming:

o         Android: Settings>More>Mobile network>Data Roaming turn ON

o         iPhone: Settings>Cellular>Data Roaming turn ON

·         Handset APN setting

o         Android: Settings>More>Mobile network>Access Point Names>Menu>New APN>Name & APN enter mb and save

o         iPhone: Settings>Cellular>Cellular Data Network>Cellular Data: APN enter mb

o         Windows 10: Settings>Network and wireless network>Mobile network and SIM card>SIM card settings>APN network “APN network” > APN enter mb and save
